Through funding provided by the US Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service, K&A and the Conservation Technology Information Center (CTIC) have developed a water quality trading workshop that educates both non-point and point sources on how to get involved in a trading market. This training is unique in that participants get the opportunity to role play in a trading exercise based on real market scenarios. Each participant is asked to play a role they do not occupy in their regular positions or professions.
Participant evaluations of the workshop have given the training high marks. The last of four workshops will be held in Indianapolis on August 26-27, 2009. Click here to get more information about the past workshops held in Ohio and Maryland and to register for the Indianapolis workshop. |
