KVCC was awarded a grant from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to fund a stormwater treatment project at the Texas Township campus.  The project was designed to eliminate stormwater runoff from the single, remaining untreated outfall to the West Fork Portage Creek in the Kalamazoo River Watershed.  K&A is the lead engineer on the project.  Construction on the project started in early October 2012 and is now fully operational as of August 2013.
