About Us

Located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Kieser & Associates, LLC (K&A) provides scientific research and environmental consulting services to industry, commercial businesses, county, state and federal agencies, municipalities, non-governmental organizations, legal counsel and private clients.  K&A was established in March 1992 as a sole proprietorship.  In 2004, the firm became a Limited Liability Corporation.  Mark S. Kieser, Senior Scientist and owner, founded the firm and remains as the principal.

K&A focuses on environmental science and engineering applications associated with new environmental program development, water resources management and environmental compliance.  Our staff offer multi-disciplinary expertise in areas of water resources, civil and environmental engineering, hydrogeology, resource management, risk assessment, aquatic ecology, biology and chemistry. 

In today’s world of complex technology and continuously evolving regulations, our philosophy emphasizes the sustainable application of innovative, professional and cost-effective solutions.  Over the past fourteen years, many of our efforts have centered upon market-based solutions for environmental challenges in air and water media.
